My tire shop informed me that my sensors are going to need to be replaced soon because the battery life is very low. They recommended something called a Redi sensor? Has anyone heard of these or had any experience with these?

Yes, the Redi-sensor is a pre-programmed TPMS sensor. It acts just as an OE sensor would work with the same quality. They are a good choice if you are replacing TPMS.
