Rubber & Metal Stems - Interchangeable?

I have some aftermarket wheels on my car and hate the look of the rubber tpms valve stems. Can they be swapped out for metal ones?

Some manufacturer's of the tpms sensors will have optional interchangeable sensors, so it will depend.
