Long story short, new tires were put on my car, a 2007 Lexus ES350 a lil over a week ago, tpms light came on, tire shop says that they tried to reset the system but was unsuccessful. What do I do?

It sounds like the battery on the sensor is done. I recommend replacing all 4 sensors as they would all be close to dying.
