Band Sensor Delete

My 2008 Ranger is in need of some new sensors because 2 of them are now dead. Damn are they expensive! Should I just run without them? Are there any cheaper alternatives?

There are many alternatives to the band sensors and they are all cheaper! Schrader makes the EZ-sensor and Huf makes a replacement as well that uses a clamp-in valve stem.
