Why Isn't A TPMS Display With Tire Pressures Standard?

Don't get me wrong, TPMS has helped me a couple of times. But is it too much to ask for a display with real time tire pressures? Cars have navigation that can tell where you are any almost any given moment, but we cant know how much air is in our tires?
