The ATEQ VT55 universal trigger tool is a hand-held tool to activate tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors via a vehicle?s OBDII port and is available exclusively at Shop TPMS. Designed for daily, high volume use, the VT55 has a rugged ABS body and rechargeable battery.
The tool is equipped with the latest advanced stream decoding technology and can trigger and decode sensors much faster and more accurately than previous generation devices by simply selecting a vehicle manufacturer and testing. Compatible with all currently known TPMS sensors, its built-in, upgradable synchronization software keeps the tool updated with all newly introduced TPMS sensors. Use the included USB cable hooked to your PC and walk through the on-screen prompts to download the data.
The VT55 triggers all newly mounted TPMS sensors and turns the warning light off. It decodes the sensor data and ensures that the correct tire pressure monitoring sensor is being read and isn?t a radio frequency transmission from a key fob or other sensor. The process allows the user to display the data on screen but also to transfer it to a PC and print out results outlining which sensor is faulty and why.
The VT55 tool displays sensor ID, pressure, battery status, temperature, accelerometer and more.
