2006 Infiniti QX56 TPMS Sensor Fitment Question

I just picked up a used QX56 but it has steel wheels on it currently. Can i swap those tpms into any other type of wheel or are the sensors only for the steel wheels?

Your car had 2 different types of sensors available. One for steel and one for alloy wheels. To answer your question, you would need the other sensor.
