Audi/VW No tpms on vehicles??

I have heard the same thing about some of the MkV and MkVI VW's missing TPMS. Are these the only makes that are missing them?

Some VW and AUDI vehicles are not equipped with DIRECT tpms meaning no sensors, the TPMS system utilized is an indirect system managed through the abs system. 2012 Beetle, 2012 Passat are a couple that come to mind.
